The 24th Annual Colorado Black Arts Festival 2010 was a great success. CBAF would like to thank all the communities that participated and the state of Colorado for supporting us in our efforts in presenting the African and African-American experience in an annual festival setting.
Without you and your patronage we could not have showed the rich Black culture Colorado has to offer its communities.
We look forward to festival 2011 our 25th year of celebrating African and African-American arts and culture in Colorado. CBAFs unique celebration for next year will be the third weekend in July. The festival celebrations dates are Friday July15th through Sunday July 17th 2011.

Colorado Black Arts Festival will celebrate its 25th annual three day festival of music, dance and literary,visual arts, scheduled for July 15, 16, and 17th 2011 at Denver City Park Southeast. For over two decades thousands from this regions community and throughout the country have come together to create, demonstrate and celebrate our rich African-American heritage. Colorado Black Arts Festival is renowned for its high quality of performances and visual arts presentations. Colorado Black Arts Festival has presented a colorful and dynamic parade, special exhibits, marketplace, children’s arts programming, and socio-civic organizations. The business community has always been a strong supporter of this legendary Denver institution. Stay tuned for updates on our programming for 2011. The expanded visual artist program will host a special exhibit from Denver and Colorado’s African-American visual amd literary artist elite exhibiting never seen before array of various mediums. The task and the challenge for producing this annual event requires dedicated and commitment from volunteers, foundations, major corporations, cultural institutions, churches, lodges, fraternities sororities, youth groups, schools, universities, artist, other art organization and supporters. Colorado Black Arts Festival encourages all to participate in helping to keep and celebrate our arts and cultural heritage.
